Without lecturing… I mostly make money online by selling crap on eBay (physical goods), selling how-to eBooks (I have three successful eBooks), and affiliate marketing.

EBooks are easy and they make money if what you know is in demand. For example Auto Blogs is a popular subject in most internet marketing forums so I decided to write an eBook about it (autoblogbook) and my experiences with autoblogging. I’ve received nothing but positive feedback about it! I have two other eBooks, one on eBay Suspensions, which is filling a niche nicely and another on creating an online business (how I got started working online).

To make money online you have to sell something. You are either selling your own products where your profit will be higher, or you’re reselling someone else’s products where you have less responsibility but your profits are lower. I like doing both.

Affiliate marketing is as easy as adding affiliate links in your websites, eBooks, or wherever else you can squeeze them in. I use a number of different tactics to increase my affiliate marketing income. I use autoblogs obviously to drive traffic, I use email marketing (aweber) to help push products, I utilize squeeze pages to compare different affiliate products, I use web 2.0 websites to help SEO rankings of squeeze pages (SENuke) and to help drive traffic, I create real websites (content rich) for long term growth. I always make sure I have multiple streams of income because you never know how long something will last.

I find a lot of black hat marketing strategies only last as long as you keep up with it.. while SEO and more white hat marketing last for years. I consider Autoblogs grey hat… my top autoblogs are white hat.. but that’s something else.

Simply put I make money online by taking action. The more you work towards something the closer you’ll get to reaping the rewards. And I’m a pretty lazy person but with the help of a to-do list I make things happen.

My first online business wasn’t a success until 2-3 months into it when I hit the eureka moment which turned everything around. From what I learned from my first business I carried over into affiliate marketing. Basically Autoblogs started it for me… well really email marketing and the mistrust of a business partner.. that’s something else as well.

Sorry if this is long, I just felt the need for taking some action today. As you’re reading this people are clicking on my links, learning more about how they can take action and they might even buy an eBook. This little article will most likely make me $100 – $200 in the span of a couple days which isn’t bad for a 15 minute writing session.

Take action today… you want to know how to start making money quickly?

Create a squeeze page comparing similar affiliate products from Clickbank or wherever. Make it professional; make sure to collect emails (aweber) to continue marketing to readers later on.

Then simply drive targeted traffic to your sales page. Like I said earlier I use autoblogs to do this, web 2.0 websites using senuke, content websites, ad networks, and other web 2.0 sites by hand (no one really talks about this, maybe because it’s too obvious?). Basically what you do is type in the keyword you want to rank for in Google… for example let’s say ‘wow horde guide’ or ‘wow alliance guide’ then just go down the list of websites, and look for websites where you can post content on, for example on blogs, forums and other web 2.0 sites. This is where you want to place a little comment (unique comments) and a link back to your website… not only will this generate you targeted traffic but it will massively help your SEO rankings for that keyword. I like using Google alerts for keywords I like and I post for 5-10 minutes after receiving keyword alerts.. basically get people to your squeeze pages one way or another. There are hundreds of ways to
do it!

Sorry if I’m a little vague in parts, there are entire forums out there created with just this topic in mind, and for me to squeeze every little detail of making money online in one slightly large article isn’t going to happen.
